Job Description

This job performs complex administrative work such as conducting quality control reviews of affordable housing tenant files. Work will be mostly with Rural Development and Tax Credit properties. These reviews will measure and ensure compliance with all program documents, income restrictions, Rural Development, HUD, and Tax Credit regulations. This person works with the Compliance Director, Site Staff, and State Agencies.

Responsibilities include:

Approve applicants to move into a tax credit unit, review tenant files for accuracy, assess and make recommendations regarding training needs, conduct training sessions with staff, attend training on a regular basis to keep current on regulatory changes. Work with the Director to develop and implement forms, policies and procedures.

  • Detail oriented and capable of working well independently
  • Proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel

Two years of work experience in property management , a housing regulatory agency, or a related field with a certified Tax Credit designation such as SHCM or HCCP is preferred. Rural Development experience is a plus.

All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and credit/criminal background checks.

Job Type: Full-time
