We are seeking an experienced Resident Systems Specialist. This position is based in Greensboro, NC and will report to the Resident Systems Manager. This role works in conjunction with Operations, Compliance, and Housing Agencies throughout our portfolio to ensure accuracy of our residents’ rent and subsidy charges.
Qualifications
- Knowledge with MS Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel (including Excel functions)
- Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task within specific time constraints
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience in ResMan software or other property management systems, a plus
- Prior experience with Section 8, RD, and Tax Credit programs a plus
Abridged Primary Responsibilities
- Manage Section 8 renewals, adjustments, and terminations
- Review tenant ledgers when updating contracts for corrections & changes
- Timely data entry utilizing ResMan software
- Engage with Property Managers, Site Managers, and Housing Agencies through excellent customer service practices answering questions about files
- Coordinate with various Public Housing Authorities (PHAs) on Section 8 renewals, rent portion adjustments, and HQS inspections
- Ability to analyze and reconcile accounts
- Run monthly HAP & RD aged receivable reports
- Ability to work in partnership with other team members
