APARTMENT MAINTENANCE for family apartment community located in Winston Salem, NC to work 30 hrs/wk. Responsible for day-to-day property cleaning, common area maintenance and completing maintenance tasks in apartments. Candidate must have basic knowledge of maintenance and proficiency with hand-tools. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and seek solutions is a must. Maturity, consistency, high standards for organization and efficiency, and delivery of exceptional customer service are required. Must have reliable transportation and tools. Candidate must successfully pass credit, criminal and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities and Duties (including, but not limited to):
· light plumbing
· troubleshoot various maintenance issues
· coordinate and work with contractors/vendors as needed
· pick up trash on the grounds
· cleaning the common areas
· complete work orders in a timely fashion
· maintain neat and organized maintenance records. Submit paperwork in a timely manner
· maintain an organized and sufficiently stocked maintenance area
· maintain secure key control of all areas
· turn vacant apartments (unit make ready process)
· provide excellent customer service
· communicate effectively and respectfully with co-workers, residents and vendors
· respond to after-hours emergencies in a timely manner
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- On call
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Winston-Salem, NC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
