Full Time Leasing Agent needed 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for 212 units Tax Credit/Blended property in Asheville, NC. The ideal candidate will possess strong organization skills with attention to detail and ability to deliver exceptional customer service at all times. Managing time effectively to increase productivity and successfully navigating stressful situations is a must. Preparing for vacancies and leasing vacant units quickly is the primary responsibility. The Leasing Agent is responsible for leasing activities including, but not limited to:

  • Greeting visitors to the Leasing Office
  • Answering and responding to interest calls
  • Maintaining prospect and applicant waiting lists
  • Meeting with applicants to complete the application and qualifying process
  • Submitting documents for compliance review
  • Following Tax Credit and Project Based Voucher program requirements
  • Communicating leasing updates to the Site Manager and Property Manager
  • Tracking notices to vacate, move-outs and scheduling move-ins
  • Maintain a leasing activities calendar
  • Communicating vacant unit make-ready needs with the Maintenance Team
  • Inspecting vacant units and showing units to applicants
  • Completing lease documents with new residents
  • Maintain confidentiality of applicant and residents paperwork
  • Assist with recertification’s as needed
